One half year old!! And almost 2?!?!

OK... OK... So we pulled a little April Fool's on y'all last month. Sorry about that. There are no more little Dixon's in the making right now. Mommy's enjoying her Bloody Mary's too much, and she says being pregnant 18 (technically 20) out of 24 months is good for awhile, if not forever. Plus, daddy says I have entered the terrible 2's too early and he's going to the loony house. I have been a little challenging lately, but who's never up for a good challenge?

6 Months! 4.28.2014

I am 6 months old! I love to sit up and play with my toys but please don't put me on my belly. I HATE that. And I refuse to roll over. I have also learned to love my walker! I jump and really get around in that thing which is good because my baptism was postponed for so long. I am under a strict diet and exercise program because I have a very important dress to get into this weekend. My dress fitting last week made mommy very nervous! You see, I'm wearing her baptism gown for my special day. I think I heard her say she got me some Spanx?!?! I really don't think she has anything to worry about since I'm not a fan of food. Bananas, cereal, mashed potatoes - anything - I just gag and choke and cough and spit it out. I'll just stick to my bottles, thanks.

I hope you all had a nice Easter. Kendall really enjoyed her 1st Easter - it was like a summer day! She doesn't know what summer is yet and I think the rest of us have forgotten what its like too. She starting to think we're telling big lies about always being outside, having cookouts, going to the splash park, going on long walks... I promise, Kendall, it's coming. But, don't blink because it'll only last like 3 seconds and then it will be snowing again. You'd think our 'rents walked around with a camera on us 24/7 because every month there are more and more pics... Oh wait. They do! Enjoy!

5 and 21 Months!

Holy Frights! I'll start off by thanking you all for keeping Kendall and I on our toes. Just as we were going to try to let this month slip by, we were catching crap for doing so. So here you go! A few days late...

5 months! 3.28.2014

Sooooo... I wasn't interested in belly pics.... at all! Let's just say that "5" sticker is destroyed. I am a very grabby little lady. Watch your glasses and your hair and your earrings and your drink... right, mommy? I have, however, found my toes and love to grab those and put them in my mouth.

First off, we are sending positive thoughts and prayers out to our family in Minnesota as they were under a blizzard warning and were instead slammed with a tornado that ripped through their farm. No one was hurt, thankfully, but it did sustain major damage. Seriously! Who peed in Mother Nature's Cheerios?!?! Despite old man winter who has MORE than wore out his welcome, we've been getting out a little here and there. You know mommy needed to get out of the house when she took us to the library - HA! About 10 minutes in mommy said, "Yep! It's a library!" And back out the door we went. But, they had a cool fishtank?!?!

Of course I would smile in a library!

Old man winter has definitely wore out his welcome in my book. I've followed my brothers footsteps and I'm a few days in with my second ear infection in 5 weeks. We got the short stick when it comes to ears, I guess. Just a matter of time until I get tubes as well... I remain in pretty good spirits though. All I do is smile! And eat! And dirty diapers!

Happy late St. Patty's Day! We had a great one as we welcomed two new little girlfriends to the world. Mommy had a celebratory cocktail in their honor only to realize after it was near gone that she gave up pop for Lent... Oops! The things we do for good friends!!!

Last week was full of family and friends visiting from near and far. The week caught up to us yesterday and today. Early bedtime for all!

There are more and more pictures as the months go by so we're going to wrap it up and let you enjoy those! Here's to spring actually stepping up and showing its' face and may the Easter Bunny be good to you all (whoever he is). I suppose I'll meet him soon.
