15 Months!

October 1st!  I'm 15 months old! (and a few days)...  And let me just start out by taking a deep breath.  It's been one. crazy. month.  Whew!

Welcome to our new home!

The movers are here!
And things just got real!

We were FULL!
We are officially moved!  I wasn't quite sure what was going on through all the chaos.  We came to the new house for a full week and there was lots of cleaning and painting and commotion.  Then one day I showed up and all my stuff was here!  What is going on?  The first night I was not having my crib, or my room, or anything.  I just wanted mommy or daddy to hold me and sleep with them... and that pretty much went on for more than a few days.  But now I've realized this is our new home and I know my room.  I will even go in the basement to my toy room (if the lights are on) by myself.  Mommy brought me to our old house and when my neighbor friends came out I ran up to each of them and hugged them!  It was fun to see them.  I know I'll meet new friends and love it here too.

My crib got taken apart for preparation...
This only lasted for 20 mins.
Seeing my stuff in my new room for the first time?!

The morning after our first night... Sad? Mad? Tired?
Maybe all of the above.

I was "helping" pack up the last of my things.

At least we have garbage trucks here too.

In between all the craziness my mommy turned another year older and mommy and daddy also celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary!  I don't think we even had cake on my mommy's birthday?! Isn't that what we do on birthdays?  I love cake!  She was OK with that because she treated herself to a grande soy chai latte and savored every last sip and calorie!

Our family of 4 ;)
Just this past weekend I had my first gig as ring bearer.  Considering how the rehearsal went and my mood on the way to the actual event, I'd say I certainly surprised everyone by my stellar performance!  My mom lead me out and pointed to daddy waiting for me at the other end... and I started running right for him!  But, instead I ran right up to the photographer and gave her a big hug!  Then, eventually, I made my way to the end and everyone clapped and laughed.  I had a ball when the dancing started.  I was EVERYWHERE! Laughing, clapping, doing turns, laying down and break dancing, going up to random women, lifting my arms and they'd pick me up and dance me all over the floor...  After about an hour of this. I crashed. And I crashed hard.  And who says you need alcohol to have fun?
Nothin' like a sharp dressed man, right mommy?

This man was trying out my sweet moves with me!

Aaaand... I'm done.
Playing with the itzy, bitzy spider.
We are 1 month away from the debut of my baby brother or sister!  Are you thinking blue or pink? Regardless, mommy says this week our goal is to get everything washed up and ready to go.  And perhaps we should get furniture in his/her room?  We are all getting very excited!  I wonder if I really know what's about to hit me...
This big slide was awesome!

Enjoy fall!  October is a beautiful month.  Time for pumpkin carving, pumpkin bars, chai tea lattes, beautiful fall colors, fall festivals, pumpkin farms and so much more.  I'm still deciding what I'm going to be for Halloween...  maybe I be a big brother? Get it?!?!

Love, Blake XOXO

Happy Fall!

Trying to find the perfect pumpkins for my and my baby.
Sorry for the nudity... mommy couldn't resist.
LOVE. MY. SLIPPERS!
